social decay	For a while now, Zenith has been busy porting Dizzy adventures to ZZT. For those who havn't played these, the Dizzy games focus on action and inventory-based puzzles in a fantasy environment. Shock is none of these. Zenith's obvious talent shows in his new cyberpunk project, set in a grim future where the place known simply as "the City" is run by a mega-corporation and the streets are filled with looters and vandals. Play begins in the main character's apartment, one of the most well-coded player homes in ZZT. Since you'll spend much of your time here, this board introduces you to the game's setting.
The player character, a mercenary named Jane, is one of the most enjoyable characters to play of recent games. Glib, cute, and even charming, the writing behind her lines is always welcome, and there is a large sense of character surrounding this game. The atmosphere holds up, as well. The player spends most of the game wandering through the streets of a crumbling future civilization. A dark skyline bordering a brooding red sky can always be seen in the background, and buildings are dillapidated and in ruin. This is one of the finest games I've seen from Zenith, and is one of the most promising games under current development.	going nowhere
